RRB Group D Recruitment 2018 Syllabus and Exam Scheme PDF Available for Download
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started accepting online application for vacant posts of Railway Group D6297. Procedure for submission of application fee for notification of group-D posts has also started. As per the notification issued by the Railway Recruitment Board for all areas, with the link to apply online, we are also providing a link to download Centralized Employment Notice.
RRB (CAN 02/2018) 62907 Group-D Post Selection Process (Recruitment Process)
Through the link given on the official website, the candidate has to submit online application for all notified posts of RRB.
Candidates will be selected on the following basis:
- • Written exam
- • personal interview
- • Document Verification
The recruitment process will include Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and document verification.

The details of the scheduled time and place for all activities of the selection process will be decided by the RRB. No change in the date and time specified by the Railway Recruitment will not be accepted.
- A. Computer Based Test (CBT)..All the candidates will have to enter the Computer Based Test at the date, time and place given in the e-call letter downloaded from the Railway Recruitment Board's website. Information related to download of e-call will be issued to candidates through the website and given by personal email.
- Total time - 90 minutes
- Total number of total queries- 100
As per the category of candidates, the percentage of marks for merit has been fixed as- Unreserved -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST-30%. In order to be considered worthy, the percentage of these fixed points will be given to the Hindus by 2%.

- Number system, BODMAS, Decimal, Fraction, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Mainsurance, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trygonometry, Elementary Statics, Squire Route, Age calculation, calendar and clock etc.
- B. General Intelligence and Reasoning Analogy, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical Operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jambling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Suffixes, Conclusions and Decision Making, Syllerals and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement etc.
- C. General Science...Questions related to Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences of Class 10 in General Science Syllabus will be asked.
- D. General Awareness - Current Affairs, Science Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics and other important topics.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates, who will be declared successful in CBT, will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Two times the candidates declared by the RRB will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). By the way, it is completely above the railway that they can reduce the numbers according to their respective number. It is mandatory for the candidates to pass a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) which is of qualifying nature.
