- 3.Besides this, a provision of Rs. 360 crore has been made for the construction of residential and non-residential houses of the police department in the budget. Under the Police Modernization Scheme, Rs 67 crore has been allocated for equipment, vehicles and construction to strengthen the police system and forensic science system.
- 4.The traffic brigade volunteer has now been increased to Rs 300 for the daily honorarium of Rs 200. Apart from this, 4000 volunteers will be increased in traffic brigade. 33% women will be recruited. After that, the number of traffic brigade volunteers will increase from 4000 to 10,000.
